Know Before You Go
If you do not have a case number, you should obtain a RAP sheet before requesting criminal records. Please visit the San Francisco Police Department, Identification Bureau, Room 475 (4th floor), Hall of Justice, to request your local RAP sheet information.

Certificate of the Record
A Certificate of the Record is a document that certifies conviction and sentencing disposition of the defendant's case. Certificates are $40 per court number.
